I don't mind heft but the Wii remote + nunchuck feels fine to me... and wireless does not mean better actually the more wireless the more chances for interference and lags due to competing signals even if they're not on the same wave length they may bother each other at some level.. On a side note the launch PS3 controller must drive you nuts I swear I felt like I was gonna break the damn thing..

Oh, I love the SixAxis. Between the light weight, lack of rumble, and occasional disconnections during critical times, there is never a dull moment while playing with it.

You must have a faulty Sixaxis, I'd recommend replacing it.

That's what I pretty much determined. I might just import a DualShock3. No reason to buy a SixAxis at this point.
