Never felt that. Even when I don't post much, being a part of this site is something I enjoy. I feel that I've learned a lot from the members of this site and by conversing with them in a way that I don't with people I actually see face to face, I feel like I've become a better person. I've "met" people from parts of the world that I'd never visit and preconceived stereotypes have been destroyed as a result.

I've spent a lot of time, here. Sometimes, to the point where I couldn't log off willingly. No regrets, though. I don't watch much TV (and being here is more productive, imho). Don't do a lot of things that could be considered a waste. Don't do a lot of things that are considered destructive, either. Being here is enjoyable. Lastly, I'd like to say that, in a real world setting, my confidence level has jumped a few levels, too. I feel like I can converse with anyone. I feel like I'm informed of things going on in the world. I know which jokes will fly and which ones are best left unsaid. I have a confidence in my spelling an writing ability that comes from posting here on a regular basis. This site has influenced me for the better.

Little follow up... I failed my test yesterday 68%, but no worries I did manage to pass with an 81%. I dont think I can blame on any website or game at all, just for instance, I was doing some tutorials yesterday, but then I decided to go to sleep and I closed everything I was even getting ready to go to bet, but just for curiosity I opened youtube to see if there was anything interesting, I ended up at 4:00 am watching a woman teaching people how to put on a condom??????... At the end I was like, WTF am I doing??? I closed youtube and there I was... Looking to see if there was anything new on vgchartz!!!! ;9

Yeah, it's like a cycle for me. Though I think it's really bad for me. I find myself stuck on VGChartz even when there are no active threads I'm interested in. That's a problem, right?

Yeah, her eyes are pretty mezmorizing.

I don't spend more than 15 minutes at a time. I'll usually check it 4 or 5 times a day, so not really. I waste my life on other things.

It's alright to do time-wasters like surfing VGChartz. It's actually healthy for the body to wind down and do things you like.

Not really. I spend a lot of time in here in periods but as a whole I don't really have a lot of posts in the years I've been here. The people who have 120.000 posts on IGN and some other forums, however, seem to be wasting their life.
Besides; if its a site and discussions you enjoy, how is it a waste?

I hate the negative connotations that goes with all my preferred mediums of entertainment.

Gaming, surfing the web, watching tv series, watching anime, cartoons, being an active member of a forum, facebook etc.!

If you are enjoying doing these things then how can it ever be seen as a waste, and if you not enjoying it but stil doing it then thats your own baby ;)

And out of all those wastefull activities i listed, been a part of a forum is by far the one that adds the most value to my life. Ive become so much more clued up about gaming in general, i dont think ive met anyone in person who knows more about gaming than i do :) and this is all thanks to Vgchartz.

Not to mention all the off topic topics that i get involved in or just read through. Reading a poster like Rainbird on something to do with technology etc. is a great way of learning, similarly reading posters like kasz and Mr khan gives you a good insight into history politics etc. Also reading through threads about politics, economy, low wages, standards of living, and culture, gives me other peoples perspective (people from all over the world!) on all these matters. Most people i know in person dont have this.

So yeah thats my take on the matter. However sometimes i am generally bored and do absolutely nothing on here where i could be doing my work or something :P

Must there always be a reason?  Can't you just sit back and enjoy the boobs?

I come here when I'm free enough to take some time off from homework/projects but not free enough to go out and do stuff, it doesn't take time away from my life so I don't really feel the way you feel
