A couple of news:

1-Nintendo Attempting Guinness World Record to Celebrate Kirby's 20th Anniversary

Nintendo is set to celebrate 20 years of Kirby by attempting to break the world record for the most people blowing a chewing gum bubble simultaneously at PAX Prime 2012.

On Saturday, September 1 at 1 p.m. PST, PAX Prime attendees can begin checking in at the Washington State Convention Center Expo Hall Queue Area, Level 4, Room 4A. The event is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. 3 p.m. PST. The previous record is set at 304 individuals.

In addition to the world record attempt, those involved will have the chance to win prizes and interact with a Kirby character.

In order to participate in the event, you must have a PAX badge.

Just remember to bring some chewing gum, just in case.

2-(In Spanish) New Super Mario Bros. 2 has the biggest opening weekend in Spain so far this 2012.

(summary) According to Nintendo, with data from GfK, New Supe Mario Bros 2 has sold more than 17.700 units between from the 17th to the 19th. So far this year no other game has reached those sales in its first weekend.

The first game has sold more than 720.000 units in Spain since 2006.

Taking into consideration that we're in mid-August, those are quite good sales.

Great to see that NSMB 2 is doing better than the original (refering to Spain and the UK). Hope it keeps selling well!

I hope the next Zelda game plays more like the classics and not like the NDS ones, still not a big fan of touch screen control Zelda ;x.

Me either. I liked them, but couldn't get into them like other Zelda games.

List of completed Zelda games:

Zelda Four Swords (DSiWare edition)

Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D

Zelda Skyward Sword

Zelda Twilight Princess

Playing Now:

Zelda Minish Cap

Zelda A Link to the Past

Zelda 1 & 2

I'm the opposite. I simply adored both the DS Zeldas - easily among the best Zeldas of all.

In fact, in the category "most ingenious zelda", it wins easily. That part where you had to imprint the map still gives me chills. Using bombchu and the boomerang (and every single item)... joy!

But it won't happen anymore, since the best screen is the top one now.

Pretty nice ;p

So far for me, the only Zelda games I finished or came close to finishing are:

Legend of Zelda Link to the Past (SNES)
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (GCN)
Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (Wii)
Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening DX (GBC)

I've played pretty much all the other games except for Wind waker T_T.

Forgot I also have Link's Awakening DX. Man, I have too many games to play. (Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.)

I also have never played Wind Waker. Well, I have rented it once, but only got to a certain point early in the game. I will pick this up sooner or later. Hopefully we can download Gamecube on the Wii U.

^

^ I also enjoyed the DS Zeldas greatly, even though I had some bad moments with PH, it was still a great game overall, but I did not enjoy the other portables Zeldas so much, except of Oracles of Seasons. I would rank the Zelda games I have played in this order:

1.Wind Waker
2. Skyward Sword
3. Twilight Princess/Four Swords Adventures
4. Spirit Tracks
5. Majoras Mask
6. Oracle of Seasons
7. A Link to the Past
8. Adventure of Link/ LoZ 1
9. Phantom Hourglass
10. Oracle of Ages
11. Minish Cap
12. Link's Awakening

The Zelda picture is most definitely 100% fake.

Over at ZeldaUniverse this was discussed, and besides the fact that title would be too lame to be true, there we had a second picture of an 'in-game' screenshot:

This screen is just a screenshot from Wind Waker. More specifically, the path up to the rope bridge on Outset Island. Original source was ZeldaDungeon who had it from some post at GameFAQs.

No Shrimp Shield? :(

I really liked that name! Portable Zeldas can be way more lighthearted with their names than console ones.

but the pic looks like its running on the 3DS
so which game is it?
Zelda WW3D?

Maybe it's just a pic being shown on the upper screen. Those things don't leak from Nintendo easily.

But to be honest... there's no hud and it does not look like the same trees from Outset island
