I really hope that's very true!
With iOS getting a MH sequel and now TWENY, I started to fear for the handheld market this year.

VicViper; There's nothing to worry about. The 3DS is selling like a baws!! The Vita on the other hand... At the end of this handheld gen we might just have Nintendo left if the Vita doesn't pick up some steam!! Before this year is over we'll know the future of handhelds; will the Vita fail? Will NSMB2 and 3DS XL increase western sale numbers?

If Vita doesn`t get a MH4 version then i don`t see Vita`s performance in Japan getting better anytime soon.
And even if it does get the same version, seeing as part of the audience is already on board 3DS with MH3, who knows if Vita can get any serious gains like the PSP had when the MH brand was PSP exclusive.

Even if not exclusive, it'll do wonders for the system. Persona is having legs, imagine Monster Hunter. And god knows how Vita needs games with legs - not one week wonders.

Sony got the award for most dumb decision ever after this one. But there's always TGS. It's funny to think that Vita MH would be considered a megaton - it should have been the most obvious thing ever, but no!

@Ryan: I mentioned the lack of a MH 4 exclusive and how that relates to Vita. Last gen, MH was exclusive and it marked the rise of PSP in Japan. This time even if Vita gets a MH game it probably won`t be a exclusive and because of that i don`t see what Sony can do to raise Vita`s sales like they did for PSP.
