Has anyone noticed if the Wii U has a motion sensor still? I want the Wii U to be more accurate. Shooting games like ZombieU and anything else will only be playable if motion control is up to par. I hated The Conduit and playing Goldeneyd wii with motion control. You can eventually get usedto it and it seems to be more accurate but I just never got into it. Angways this is something I have not paid attention to. How is the Wii U recognizing the co strollers?

The GamePad has a built-in Gyro sensor, and you can also use Wii Remotes.  What's worth noting is that it only can use Wii Remote Pluses (which have the MotionPlus built in) or regular Wiimotes with the MotionPlus attachment.  This means that shooters (and other motion-controlled games) will use the far-more-accurate Gyro controls instead of the pointer.

Also, if you don't like motion controls, the GamePad and Wii U Pro Controller are very comfortable and should suit you just fine.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Natsume's "Shopping Moon" (AKA Project Happiness) is confirmed for 3DS.

- Development began at the end of 2011
- Atsuko Nishida doing graphic design and illustrations
- Idea is to build up a shop, add products and customers
- Wada aiming for the simplicity of classic simulation style games
- Doesn’t want menu and command-based progression
- Wada wants to make Project Happiness so that even if your store gets big, you’ll still be able to see your character moving around, lining up product on store shelves
- Other characters will populate your story
- 30 core characters at the moment
- Start out with 10 characters
- More characters as the store gets bigger
- Choose your character’s gender
- Simple character-making component
- Can change costumes
- Access more costumes as you play
- Wada believes online/network elements are essential to games
- He wants to bring out something that makes players think, “Ahh, there’s this kind of different play style.”

Hmm, sounds ok. The trailer had some good character design too. Hope for the best on this game.
Rune Factory will give us an idea if Natsume really "got game" or if Harverst Moon success was just luck. Hope for the former.

Because the more money they get, higher chances for them to make a new Pocky & Rocky or Lufia game

I do not know what a Pocky & Rocky game is other than what you have told us, but a new Lufia game would be more than welcome! ^

Pocky & Rocky is a shooter - you know, the real hardcore type of shooter.

But instead of ships you play as two awfully cute characters. But the hellish difficult is still there.

But I'm only kidding, I don't think Natsume has any more saying in this game.

I think it's square-enix IP now, and they don't really give a crap about I think

I would say if a Developer does not care about some property that they own they should sell it. Rare should sell Nintendo Banjo, unless they are really going to ever use him again. Or I guess Microsoft should sell him. I loved Banjo and think he has a bright future on Nintendo systems. This applies to other companies as well. I am sure Activision had many more properties other than Turok when they went down. If companies are not going to use their immense resources then they should just sell them piece by piece to other companies who will. I just hope all those companies who buy are not mobile developers only.

I never knew about a case of sold ip, to be honest.

It's either the whole developer that's bought, or nothing. Licence the ip, though, that's a possibility - like 3DS Banjo games, as the GBA had.

Well, good for Wii U sales

Probably another one of the "best on Wii U" type of situations.

But it's not confirmed, but N-Gamer wouldn't be idiot for a mistake of that evel, right?

Wow, Sega Genesis sure was an amazing system for it's time right :P

Just teasing BasilZero!

(btw, I don't think epic mickey looks good - that pic does look great, but not the game from what they showed us - but definitely does it no look like "garbage" or like a "sega genesis game" like he says all the time.

Developers seem to have become masters of making 2D games these days. I highly doubt they will let us down too much. Maybe not on par with a recently Mario or Rayman game, but it should do well!

To me developers became masters of 2D the day they made this, in 1996. No game survived more the test of time than these

Time to butt in with a Monthly Vote PSA! The following games have been voted upon at least once each for either the Wii, Wii U, DS, or 3DS.

Animal Crossing: Jump Out
Assassin's Creed 3
Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - The Mirror of Fate
Darksiders 2
Dragon Quest X
Dragon Quest X
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion
Etrian Odyssey 4
Fire Emblem: Awakening

New Super Mario Bros U
Paper Mario: Sticker Star

At this point, we have about 180 points for games on Nintendo systems. Sounds good, until you realize the PS3 alone has over 280 points. C'mon guys and vote.

(If anybody is upset that I'm shilling this thing, let me know.)

Who told you that? Nintendo's site clearly lists ALL Wii controllers and attachments. Plus and non plus.

From Nintendo's site, notice the OR:

Other Controllers

The Wii U console is capable of supporting two Wii U GamePad controllers, up to four Wii Remote (or Wii Remote Plus) controllers or Wii U Pro Controllers, and Wii accessories such as the Nunchuk, Classic Controller and Wii Balance Board.
