Inferior to Canadians.

No, seriously. Canada is a much better country.

hear, hear!! XP

Seriously, Canada's awesome, it's kinda like the US but without all the religious nuts, obesity, hating others...etc

US, Y U make fun of Canada all the time?? D:

Is it necessary to always say this? It's really generalising Religion. I'm religious but I'm not a huge nut about it. :P I don't think Pokemon are demons or anything. I also don't think that evolution isn't real, :/ is it possible to not say "religious nuts"?

lol didn't mean it like that XD just talking stereotypes, nobody really think that about the US, nor do they think that about religious people. It's just that what comes to mind when you think of US stereotypes (and mostly overly negative things tend to come to mind when talking about this stuff)

Besides, listing 'normal people' in a stereotype thread isn't funny at all :d

Most of the people I know consider themselves religious, and most of them are great people (that inculdes you~ :B)

O.o Apologies accepted. Now, there are still some other pending. Starting the rebellion in Panama, and taking away from our country, supporting the Contras in Nicaragua, Trujillo's dictatorship in Dominican Republic, assasination of Allende and the support of Pinochet in Chile, the Cuban Embargo, lol I really don't like your government.

Hey, I don't approve of a lot of what my government has done either. But here; I would like to formally apologize on behalf of my country for its actions in starting the rebellion in Panama, and for taking control of the Panama Canal (if this is what you meant...?) from Panama for so many years. I would also like to apologize for the government's support of the Contras in Nicaragua, placing Trujillo into power in the Dominican Republic, the assassination of Allende and the support of Pinochet in Chile, and the Cuban Embargo (especially as it is still going on now...). I'm sorry.

While this apology doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things, many of us US citizens are not proud of many things that our country has done (even if we don't admit it), and we do not always agree with the actions of our government.

Not really. Panama used to be a province of Colombia, which, I have to admit, felt quite abandoned by the central government, but there were no serious attempts of secession. Then came the US put some frigates, and instigate a revolution, then came the independence, then they take the control of the canal, and if I'm not wrong your government didn't wanted to hand the control back to Panama XD

It's ok mate. I know one can't judge all the people for the actions of their governments, but I do think that people can do more to control the actions of their governmetns. I mean, the invasion of Iraq, Gitmo, environmental issues, just make you look like world assholes, and they represent you, then thats why its easy to think that the whole population are a bunch of global bullys.

I'm from PRChina.
I used to think America is ok. but since I finished my English courses, I don't like them anymore.
1st There are full of racists and right wing maniacs in America, (stormfront)
2nd I hate their anti China political propagandas.
3rd I don't like American cultures, and their complete lack of respect towards other cultures. Espeacially acient cultures like Chinese or Indian or Middle eastern.
4th I hate their attitudes towards their neighbours like Mexico and other parts of Latin America, what made them think so highly of themselves?
5th I hate what they did in Iraq and Afganistan.

I'm American (Born in Florida.) and I must tell you I agree with you on the China thing. It is ridiculous how people here think China is the same place it used to be. Hasn't China "evolved" a ton? I would actually much rather live there than here. You have nice, clean cities and an interesting culture and language. When I was younger I used to adore everything Chinese, I don't much anymore (due to me now adoring Japan and Korea xD ) but I still have high respect for China. I hope this gives you a little better view of how some people don't believe all the lies about China that the media tells here. =)

Ok, Hilarious.  First of all, a Chinese person that doesn't like American attitudes towards our neighbors????  Ever heard of Tibet?  Actually, you may not have because your authoritarian government doesnt allow free flow of information.  Your country has brutally repressed the freedom of Tibetans since 1951, amalgamating it into your country.  So while technically, its not a neighbor, it is FORCED into being part of your country.  The Uighers in the West of your country are also basically held hostage as part of your country.  I haven't even mentioned Taiwan yet.  Mao, that despotic monster (he is responsible for the deaths of at LEAST 20 Million people, not to mention the death of a VIBRANT and ancient culture, replacing it with dull communism) marched across the country murdering the "bourgeoisie" and forcing those not killed or enslaved to vacate the continent and find refuge on Formosa.  Now, while Taiwan wishes to be its own independent country, your government hangs Nuclear Annihilation over their heads should they declare Sovereignty.

And the China political propaganda, maybe we wouldnt be so upset if you traded FAIRLY with us instead of forcing tariffs on our goods while we do nothing of the same to your, many times, inferior products (some even boardering on dangerous, lead in milk).  Also, the PLA is responsible for many network attacks on American businesses (mine included), and Chinese spies have stolen 100s of Billions of dollars of industrial secrets from our companies.

America has a lot of faults, many of them deep.  But to compare it to an authoritarian, repressive regime like the PRC, you are not very intelligent.  Your culture before Communism was fantastic, and the remnants that remain are every bit as excellent as they always have been.  But your government's Soviet style world dealings are irresponsible and boardering on evil in some cases (supporting Bashar al-Assad).  I hope that one day, the work started by those brave college students in Tianamen Square in 1989 is finished (have you heard of this incident? Your government represses information about this too), and the Communist regime in your country falls, until that day your country will NEVER perform anywhere close to its potential, and you will continue to share the stage with Russia as the World's Bad Guys.

First off, your explanation of China is very one-sided. I would also like to point out that the people of China have nothing to do with this, it's their government that did these things. They didn't vote this in. Why would anyone vote communism in? They wouldn't. Also, The People's Republic of China has changed a lot. Their gov't has become less communist and more socialist since what you're describing. (No where near perfect but getting better.) PRC can not automatically switch their gov't from one extreme to another. It takes a long time for any country to switch governments. They're trying to be more open, more free. It will never be as free as America is, it may get close one day though.

You're acting like The People's Republic of China is North Korea, it isn't.

Did I mention many Americans are as self-righteous as they are ignorant?

Tibet was independent from China for about 36 years (not thousands of years), and was not recognized as an official nation by the US for the entirety of this period; they were a rebel state run by a fundamentalist, oppressive, and feudalistic regime. The people lived under a harsh conditions and suffered a life expectancy of only 33 years. The peasants revolted and joined the People's Republic of China - and living conditions vastly improved.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Actually, if you look through my post, I mentioned several times that it is the government that I have issue with, while I appreciate the vibrant culture that hasn't been trounced by Communism.  Socialism is not quite as bad as Communism, but it isn't a quality goal either.   My main problem with China is that its potential is wasted by the government.  I stand by everything I said in my post however, a Chinese citizen accusing America of being a bad neighbor is laughable.  Check out how much foreign aid China provides to its neighbors not named North Korea.

I like the people (well most of them) but overall it has too much power for its own good. It is also quite arrogant in the way that it does things it thinks that because it has the most power it has the right to do any damn thing it wants, This is NOT the case. I am a Brit and i hate the way we get dragged into all the wars america starts, it only has wars because too much of its industry depends on it. The country is riddled with corruption, a long history of violence (there hasn't been a day of peace since the american civil war) and unfortunately the american people will pay for their governments "deliberate mistakes"

In conclusion. It is a country that survives on misery and suffering but only at other peoples expense, tries to be "all that" even though its nearly in as much debt as its worth and soon the countries gonna fall into economic ruins when it becomes bankrupt because if they dont change the way they live there's no way out of it.

I am sorry to be so negative. I like the people but not the country.
