There actually is evidence that Jesus existed from somebody who did not even believe in him at the time. Ever hear of Josephus? He wrote about Jesus and who he was, and said that he didn't believe in the things he said. The point of this is that Josephus at least wrote about the existance of Jesus.

Actually I believe the main Josephus stuff is considered counterfit.

Outside of talk of James' brother Jesus being killed anyway.  Which isn't too specific.

[Firstly, I'm glad that you keep this discussion at a civilized level.]

That was 1500 years ago, you should never trust information that's that old. Especially when considering that the source to all this has heavily skewed the info (or made all this up as far as we know) to match with the "perfect religion". An objective source would help out a lot here, but as for now, we're stuck.

Fair enough. You have a polarized view on Islam so I won't try explaining further because you're entitled to your own beliefs. However, please note that calling Muhammad a pedophile IS wrong, and it is extremely disrespectful. You can choose not to believe in him, but at the same time please don't try to down-grade his character by making false claims that have no evidence to back them up. At least we have the Haddith that tells the type of character Muhammad was. Calling him a pedophile or a slave owner is wrong in context to the Haddith, and it is wrong in context of his historical role and the movement of liberty that he was pursuing (which is historically documented outside of the Quran and Haddith).

Difficult question. Jesus was slim and while we don't have any information about Mohammed, I still believe if they were to get in a fight, Jesus would be the one to back out. Of course, assuming no superpowers. Instant revival option would be great no matter which way you look at it but it would consume too much mana. The ability to travel to sky is another one that should not be underestimated. Too many variables to make a clear prediction.

i don"t know if Jesus(or Buddha) were real or fictious,

but both gave up their Kingdoms for philantropie and poverty and they told the people about the danger of pride.,

Mohammed did the opposite.
He was a nobody and he was doing anything to generate more and more power and wealth= killing people(even old men and children),ethnical cleansing, genozide,he was enslaving people,he married six year old Aisha(read the Hadithts) and he told people that pride is important,he invented a special tax(dhimmitude)) for nonmuslims and he wrote about 100 instructions to bow down nonmuslims and death penalties for muslims twho dares to leave the Islam.
And the good things he said -well.The most are meaningless because of the Abrogation.(that"s something most muslims never heard of)

I'm going with Buddha since his followers never really started countless holy wars.  Also, most Buddhist don't look down on you if you are different religion.  The same can't be said about most mainstream religions even though their "holy men" even stated not to be so decisive over other people's religion.  While I don't believe everything the Buddhist believe in, I consider them to have a better understanding of religious concepts than the other religions.

But that's not true at all. While that may be closer to truth now, using just a minute or two of searching you'll find numerous instances of where Buddihist monks fought in official combat for all sorts of reasons. I suppose you could say the common practicer hasn't been involved in some grand fight, but the religion has plenty of fighters as other religions as well.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

I choose Celestia she raises the sun each and every day no other religious figure does that! The point of this post is to bring friendship and harmony to both sides of this issue...

Former something....

if god chose both of them to be prophets then i will chose equal.

You are right on that one.  While the main teachings are not to harm or kill any living thing there are instances where their followers have fought (to defend their nation) or attacked other nations.  My knowledge of Buddhism isn't that good so I looked into it a little further too.  Found two decent articles on it right off the bat myself.  I still believe that Buddhist have for the most part been a lot more peaceful than other religions.

Firstly I woud like to thank everyone for keeping the thread from not turning into a flame war. I am shocked it has not been locked yet.

As I said if you suggest that the Prophet Mohammed did not exist you are not basing your opinion on any logic or fact. The decesdents of his family existed for 100's of year and had a huge effect.

Well the difference between Jesus and Mohammed is Mohammed went into Battle and directed the battles ( I do not think he ever took part in the battle, as I think his followers would not let him).

I know his Uncle Hamza and his Cousin Ali used to fight, actually Hamza was considered like a legendary fighter.

I think the Prophet lost one battle...
(where the infamous story comes that Wife of the Ruler of Mecca ate the heart of Hamza)
However, he was facing one of the greatest generals in world history, Khalid ibn al-Walid.

He then joined the Prophets side and won massive victories over the Sassainds and the Byzantines that really helped establish Islam.
So the Prophet was quite blessed to have such support unlike Jesus.

One guy betrayed him and his best Friend peter denied his existence 3 times over one night lol....

You know what believe in the stories or not, a lot of these stories are actually quite fun and entertaining, they blow away most of the storylines in movies these days... That exaplains why films like Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments are two of the most popular films ever. Forget about the religious part, the storyline is entertaining!!
