Jesus vs Mohammed?

Jesus 136 39.19%

Mohammed 158 45.53%

Equal 53 15.27%

Total:347

Its really amazing how some people just assume things about one religion when they don't know much about their own religion. Muhammad and Jesus are both messengers of god, the main different between the two is that Christians consider Jesus as son of gad while Muslims doesn't.

A couple of good videos for people who lakes the knowledge about their own religion:

Well, first off, the Old Testament isnt really The Bible. The New Testament are actual teachings of Christ, and thus, are foundation of Christianity.

Second, on the first day God created light, not day nor sun. A day to God is not the same as it is to humans, ad the Sun most certanly isnt the only source of light in Universe. God is a timlless, eternal deity, and i doubt that to such deity, a day equals to i24 earth hours, and his planet rotating around a star.

or On the bastard: Nothing of the sort was said in the Christian Bible. Plus, Christ himself was born without a biological father, so that point is moot.

The good ol' Levitcus: http://www.wouldjesusdiscriminate.org/biblical_evidence/leviticus.html

Christianity and women:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus%27_interactions_with_women

The laws written after Christ ressurectiion that women should not question man's authority and be loayal and obidient, which I agree is old fashioned now, but it wasnt considerd anything unusal back than. But NOWHERE does it say that women are less of human beings or that they will burn in Hell for disobeying.

David and Goliath : Uhmm...ok? They were at war. If David hadnt killed him, Goliath would have killed him and his entire people. Whats her point?

Racism and Hate:

The eight beatitudes in Matthew 5:3–12 during the Sermon on the Mount are stated as Blessed are:

  • the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:3)
  • they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (5:4)
  • the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (5:5)
  • they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (5:6)
  • the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (5:7)
  • the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (5:8)
  • the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (5:9)
  • they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:10)
Child Beating : Not in the Christian Bible. Also, Christ oppose violence more than any other religious figure. And whoever said phyisical punishment is always neccecarly bad? It can have positive effects on child's behaviour's development and can teach him respect, rules and discipline, something that today's generations lack. My point is, even if it says that in the bible, it doesnt automaticlly makes it wrong.
Stoning people:  ''He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.''

There is a lot of hate and intolerance in this thread and I find it frankly disturbing. And to think, it comes mostly from people who condemn both Christians and Muslims for being hateful or intolerant!

I am a Christian, and so I believe that Jesus is Savior, Lord of all. That being said, I believe that Mohammad did not speak the truth. Still I admit that God loves each and every one of us and will judge us all with righteous judgment at the end of the day. Nobody will deny God's justice. Nobody will say, "He did not judge me fairly!" - for righteous judgment is the only judgment that God will judge. That being said, I believe that God will look fairly and with love at the lives of all Christians and Muslims alike. However, I do believe that righteousness is beyond all of us, and something therefore supernatural, of God, must happen in our own lives if we are to be judged worthy by the God of the Universe.

And Muslims, I ask you this; do you think that God, in all Righteousness and Truth, can judge you as worthy? Can the LORD God look past your unrighteousness, when He is Holy and blameless? How can He remain Holy if He does not judge you justly? Or is it that your prayers were good enough atonement for your sin? Have you been good enough to avert the wrath which is to come? Have you kept the whole law? Do you not know that if you break the law at one point, you are guilty of breaking the whole law? And yet you imagine that God will allow a defiled soul into Heaven? Your prayers have not been perfect and so have not atoned for your sins; your sins have defiled you, even though you may do more good in your lifetime than evil (for is not the cup that is full of water contaminated by a mere spoonful of dirt? It is no longer good for anything.); you have sought to fulfill the Holiness that God requires, and yet it is beyond you. Shout out to God for forgiveness! For He is merciful and will forgive! But His justice demands satisfaction.

This is why God bore the sins of the whole world in Jesus Christ. There is no escape from God's justice and wrath otherwise.

Now, God loves each and every one of us (as evidenced by His self-sacrifice for our sins), and wants to reach every person who lives, including the Muslims who are indeed seeking after Him (though their method be flawed). Indeed, I affirm that the Truth is made known to all people at some time in their life - what they will do with it, or what happens following that knowledge, I cannot say. I do see some that suppress and fight the Truth, and I see some who embrace and allow it to transform them. I see some that I do not believe have had a deep encounter with Truth as of yet. What form the Truth comes to them in is none of my business, but it does come.

We can see that this thread is extremely inflammatory. Do you not realize that this is a question that people fight and kill each other about? And so why would you bring such a question to light, in such an insensitive way, unless it were to start a fight? Look at the strife you have caused, and ask yourself whether this is worth it.

I don't believe in either...but going by religious texts:

Jesus = peace, love, forgiveness, rose from the dead, son of God.

Muhammad = kill non-believers, women are objects, didn't rise from the dead, not the son of God.

So assuming both were real, Jesus is far better and has a more impressive resume.
