the hype TT, my god the hype

I'm so confused what to think about the game so far. AC2 is one of my all time favourite games. Brotherhood was a bit of a step back. Revelations was an embarrassment.

Now suddenly 3 looks very interesting, however at the same time looks very strange. Looking more Red Dead than Assassins Creed. Not a single tall climbable building in those screenshots. Huge amounts of open land. Seems like guns are even more frequent. The worst thing is so far our assassin barely has a melee weapon! He has the tomahawk and blade but no sword or dagger. I'm really hoping it's not a shooter.

I was thinking that as well. Even if it is fictional, still doesn't feel right to be fighting your own country.

As for the screenshots, they give the impression Ubisoft have altered (at least the graphical) engine. They seem to have a slightly different style to them. It has been due, Revelations was more or less running on the same engine as the original Assassin's Creed.

Hype just went from interested to Day 1! Never cared for the Assassin's Creed series but this one for some reason has got me interested.

Never played Ass Creed, I wonder if I should check it out.

American Revolution setting looks great.

I'm very very excited for this.
No matter what Ubisoft do to this franchise, I just can't lose interest in it ^^
