Forums - Microsoft - Games to Buy - Game Sugguestions for New Xbox 360 Owners

Nice start. But I don't think it should be limited to sub $40 USD games because it doesn't really apply to people outside of USA (like yours truly), plus I think gamers would prefer spending a little more now and getting a quality game then the ones I've suggested be removed.

Because of that I'd add, Rainbow Six Vegas, GRAW2, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua Tennis 3, Madden 08 and Lost Planet.

I'd take out NFS, Test Drive, Ridge Racer, Earth Defense Force and maybe even Overlord because those games aren't that good (or good at all).

Enchanted Arms is Great
I really enjoyed over 5o hours
I don't know why people didn't like it !

The list is designed as a sub-$40-only list. ES is there because I am near sure it'll get a drop soon like Two Worlds did.

Cal, exactly what didn't you like about NFSMW, TDU, and EDF2017? I, and many X360 owners, loved those games.

Will add RSV, PGR3.

I am NOT adding well-known uber-games that are $60, or games that are rather current. Blue Dragon is the only game on the list with info due to the fact it had a massive price drop recently.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Hmmm, I am interested in EDF 2017. I didn't know it was only $40

Well worth the discount price. Not best in graphics, completely cheesy, but totally fun with many different weapons and lot's of alien bugs to blast!

Totally agree, plus at EB it is now 17.99 used, so it's a great deal

Nothing is more fun than using a one of the Goliath Rocket launches on a mess of ants, they go flying every where, it is actually my second favorite 360 games, right behind gears

I picked it up last night new for $20. I'll try it out today. Hopefully get my wife to play co-op

What about Xbox 360-compatible Xbox games? There are obviously a ton of good ones, and there are many 360 owners that don't have an original Xbox. Would this make the list too long?

Since many are worth playing, I think the games should be in a list, but maybe in a different thread?

I'm pretty sure you put the greater than and less than on the wrong side.

eg. for Gears of War you put $39.99???

correct me if i'm wrong.

Just Cause is also pretty cool...

eg. for Gears of War you put <$39.99 I'm pretty sure that means greater than $39.99. If thats what you meant than fine but if you meant less than $39.99 than shouldn't it be >$39.99???

You are wrong. "<" means "less than". Therefore, "<$39.99" means "less than $39.99".

I hate to use Wikipedia, but you can see for yourself here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inequality

It would actually be more aesthetic, more concise, and more accurate to say "<$40", but I guess people will more easily recognize prices with ".99" at the end.

In the US, everything is .99 , which is what I used :)

What about listing the Xbox 360-compatible Xbox games?
