The iPad 1 is still $500.
There will be no price cut to the iPad 2 or the iPad 1. Apple is the richest company in the world becuase they sell overpriced products. They don't do price cuts.
They will certainly not release any $250 iPad mini either. Why would they if iPad 3 will sell like hotcakes at $600?

Would you prefer to sell an iPad mini at $300 and make $50 profit or sell an iPad 3 at $600 and make $200+?

i feel like they are completely different markets because android/ios games are not real games. But unfortunately people are content with angry birds. They are not true gamers, there will always be a gamer market

LMFAOO @ this entire thread. No it won't. Probably with people on a budget, however they're two completely different devices, aimed at different audiences. Tired of seeing comparisons between tablets and handhelds, even worse comparing them to consoles.

Doubt that, 3DS had a cheapest price and Vita still can drop the price anytime. And how much Ipad3 will cost?

I am an industry analyst. So, believe me when I said so. Apple will kill everything dead. iPad3 will kill many people.

meh 3ds allready has momentum. The vita however is still new and could go either way

Sure you can, Been playing Super mario world, Donkey kong country & pokemon, With a wiimote and classic controller too. Though there not exactly new.

Unless Pokemon and Marios get released on the ipad3.. then no it wont kill it.. and I will predict every time a new version of ipad4,5,6 ... damn analyst will predict it will kill the 3DS..

as for vita.. thats a different story there as it doesnt have the killer handheld games behind it.. pokemon/marios
