To add to what Rol said, he was very openly Christian, bowing in prayer after a good play or a touchdown, which of course made him very polarizing. It increased his appeal with other dedicated Christians, but radically decreased his appeal with skeptics and Christians with a brain (who would know that while a loving god would be glad that you got a good job, such a god doesn't give a shit about points in a damn football game)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

You heard the story about Christ being reborn.? Well, it happened and Tebow came to rise again. The non-religous like rol just cannot accept the faith.

I'm pretty sure that if Christ were to come back, he'd have better things to do than play football.

3p- Chocoloco (Needs to learn that Kyle Orton > Tim Tebow but he has a great sense of humor and is a big sports fan)
2p- mummelman (Doesn't constantly change his avatar like everyone else on the site. A very underrated poster)
