We don't have to wait too long for the Pokemon Black and White 2 release date. Yes, Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 are coming to the UK in Autumn 2012.

Game Freak Director Junichi Masuda announced Pokemon Black and White 2 on Saturday night. Both Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will be released for DS in Japan in June but it's good to hear that the UK release date won't be too far behind.



Pokemon Black and White 2 stars Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in a game where, according to the Pokemon website, new mysteries will await you.

What could those new mysteries be? Let us know your ideas for thePokemon Black and White follow-up.

 

 

I'm glad these games aren't going to take ages to localise.  Also, I'm certain now that these games will be the swansong for the DS (IMO the best system ever made), although I said that for the original games.

WOW this could be a smart Move Nintendo..... it may ship anothe millions DS worldwide especially if DSiXL will be bundles and limited.

How about pushing some boundaries!? This is ridiculous. Activision-esque shit this.

My guess: Half of the Pokemon team has been working on this since late 2010 using the old Black/White engine and region, for a development time of just under two years. That's actually reasonable for a direct sequel.

Pokemon Grey would have been less insulting than this announcement. At least then they'd have a reason for not making it a 3DS title. And don't try to sell me that smaller install base crap, MK7 and SML3D have incredible sales, using that argument would only make Gamefreak look greedy.

Grey would be just one game, gamefreak are getting a tad greedy here.

Everyone was expecting a Pokemon Grey anyway- if anything, this is milking it less, since it's a sequel rather than a third version remakey thing
