Sony made the mistake of underestimating MS, Ninty, and the market/consumer, and when they did that, they lost the war.
Sony thought they had it in the bag from (big ego would say it was earlier) 2006-2008, but they were wrong.
i think allot of what stage has said is right, but my original post makes more sense when you think about it.
Move really hasn't done much, and that's mostly do to lack of quality ip, and without quality ip Move is just a pointless buy, i.e. can't move hardware.
Sony's biggest problem this yr. is games with a name. TW is the only exclusive with a name to follow it released by Sony this yr. (the last of us and last guardian don't count cause those ip are Dev. recognizable not by brand)
i think Sony will win this yr. but by less then last(is that still up in the air?) yr.., but this yr. i favor MS.
i see allot of speculation, and nothing concrete in these post.
as far as price drops go. either console maker could do one, but Sony is the one that will need it. i can say with conviction that MS can perform as they did during the 2011 holiday season, during the 2012 holiday season without a price drop.
if Sony doesn't have anything to announce game wise, then i say let the struggle begin. 2012 will be a very hard yr. for Sony if they don't have names to rival HALO.
Suckerpunch, SSM, Guerilla games, ND, Quantic Dreams, and all the other studios that are supposedly working on secret projects need to be released this holiday season for Sony to have any chance at winning.
along with Agent from Rockstar, Medal of Honor special edition console and bundle, AC special edition console and bundle, and whoever else Sony partners with, would go along way in helping Sony win, cause Halo and the Starwars (won't be for the game) kinect special edition console shoulld out perform what Sony currently has available.
