You can say the same with all the EA sports game with the PS3 logo at the end of the commercial.  Its not exclusively on M$ who does that.

That's because EA and SONY are buddies and sports games sell extremely well on the PS3, Battlefield 3 had PS3 ads too, I wonder if it will be the same for Mass Effect 3.

Nope. Bioware has an affinity for Microsoft much like EA has an affinity for Sony. Theres some exclusive stuff 360/PC owners got on a Facebook App which applies to the storyline that PS3 owners just will not get.

I don't think it will ever happen.

NA dislikes Sony and that's a very big chunk of the market. Unless Sony manages to improve it's image in NA, they'll lose to MS WW (that goes for future gens too) and I very much doubt Sony will ever be able to beat MS at marketing on their home turf.

NA doesnt hate Sony. They just dont know about their top games. Microsoft no saturates the television set with Xbox 360 commercials. If they believed games like Skyrim and COD were exclusive, I wouldn't fault them at all the way Microsoft's commercials are made. Microsoft pay for third party commercials then stamps their insignia on the end of it all. Anyway, the PS3 as a gaming console dominated MS in 2011. It was the Kinect that kept Sony at bay all year. I think Sony needs to say hello to the casuals, dont you?

I know they own them, but we all know Bioware put a good word in with EA at meetings. Also doesn't hurt that the largest Mass Effect crowd is on the 360 outside of PS3 and PC. Better with Kinect and the Facebook app game being exclusive to the 360, PC and PS3 being left out.

do you have proof of that

If Kinect keep pulling off those blockbuster Disney titles for the kiddies and fitness games for their moms, never.

STAGE just give everyone a date so we can laugh when you're wrong again. The thread is discussing LTD not aligned launch numbers you always bring up to spin things. Lets look at the profit and loss this gen, if we want to bring up important numbers, makes horrific reading for Sony.

My answer is never which means worst case scenario you can laugh at me in 2014 as thats the earliest it'll have even a slight chance imo.

Sony made the mistake of underestimating MS, Ninty, and the market/consumer, and when they did that, they lost the war.

Sony thought they had it in the bag from (big ego would say it was earlier) 2006-2008, but they were wrong.

i think allot of what stage has said is right, but my original post makes more sense when you think about it.

Move really hasn't done much, and that's mostly do to lack of quality ip, and without quality ip Move is just a pointless buy, i.e. can't move hardware.

Sony's biggest problem this yr. is games with a name. TW is the only exclusive with a name to follow it released by Sony this yr. (the last of us and last guardian don't count cause those ip are Dev. recognizable not by brand)

i think Sony will win this yr. but by less then last(is that still up in the air?) yr.., but this yr. i favor MS.

i see allot of speculation, and nothing concrete in these post.

as far as price drops go. either console maker could do one, but Sony is the one that will need it. i can say with conviction that MS can perform as they did during the 2011 holiday season, during the 2012 holiday season without a price drop.

if Sony doesn't have anything to announce game wise, then i say let the struggle begin. 2012 will be a very hard yr. for Sony if they don't have names to rival HALO.

Suckerpunch, SSM, Guerilla games, ND, Quantic Dreams, and all the other studios that are supposedly working on secret projects need to be released this holiday season for Sony to have any chance at winning.

along with Agent from Rockstar, Medal of Honor special edition console and bundle, AC special edition console and bundle, and whoever else Sony partners with, would go along way in helping Sony win, cause Halo and the Starwars (won't be for the game) kinect special edition console shoulld out perform what Sony currently has available.

So we have Halo 4, Star Wars Limited Edition Console, 360 price drop, Kinect Rush, the introduction of Kinect interactive TV with Sesame Street and National Geographic, the decline of the Wii (which up until now has been a  major competitor for casual gamers), along with everything else coming to the 360 this year.

In my opinion just based on the above the 360 is in a much better position against the PS3 than it has been at any other time in its lifecycle. Can anyone name a PS3 exclusive releasing in 2012 that will sell 10+ million copies?  How about a special edition console of theirs that is sure to be as big a hit as the 360 Star Wars one?  Are there any PS3 games coming out as innovative as Sesame Street and National Geographic interactive television releasing this year?

I think the games that might have helped PS3 easily catch up (like Agent) are now well past the time where their release would make much of a difference for this generation. If the PS3 does manage to catch up, something I've never been so doubtful of as I am with this year's "Will the PS3 eventually overtake the 360?" thread, it won't be in 2012 and it's not even close to being a sure thing for 2013.
