Probably because Sony wanted Naughty Dog to keep developing for the ps2. Back then they had a way smaller team before uncharted kicked in.

Sony Bend have not made the GOW psp games. They have however made the Resistance psp game. Ready at Dawn are the ones that did the GOW psp games.

Brilliant. J&D 4 would work very well on a handheld I imagine, and could boost sales a bit, not that that's what I want them to do. New IP or Uncharted set between 2 & 3!
