No Sony bend are. They are another 1st party studio who have made the syphon filter and God of war psp games. This will be Naughty Dogs 1st ever portable game if true!

Probably because Sony wanted Naughty Dog to keep developing for the ps2. Back then they had a way smaller team before uncharted kicked in.

Ah ok. Well jokes aside, I think a kart racer would be a great idea, using all the Sony mascots

This interview in no way confirms this. Geoff Keighly asks a general question of Sony studios like Guerilla, Santa Monica, Naughty Dog and someone else... and the guy sort of smile and says 'we'll have lots of studios make games'. He could easily have just been talking about say, Guerilla, who've confirmed they're working on KZ.

It could go either way, but I doubt ND have anything in the works at the moment given they're working on TLOU and probably UC4 - but maybe Uc4 will be a few years off and some of them will start on a Vita game.

Anyway, point is this interview is misquoted and you really can't read that much into it.

honestly, LBP racing will probably fill that void.  we already have LBP costume for just about every sony mascot so i doubt that won't also be true for LBP racing.  just need to put some of them in at launch instead of a strickly DLC route.

 The rumours from the LBP karting game said that all the LBP and LBP2 DLC will be transferable to it, so all the Sony mascot DLC stuff will be just that stuff.

well there we go, assuming this rumor pans out...sony has their mario kart copy in the works.

like the guy said above this is NOT true.
he asked in general and her said yes about a lot of studio's, i thought when he said 'yes' it was bullshit as he wanted to make it look like All sonys efforts are going into this thing, but there is 100% no ND game coming to Vita. Everyone was shocked the had the resources to make 2 games at once let alone 3!

IF they ever did (they won't) i would want a new IP that rally shines on the Vita.

An all new Crash game developed by ND exclusively for the Vita would be epic... sadly, it'll prolly never happen.
