anyway, looks nice, later this year I will be applying to the JET program since schools in the US seem to think engineers shouldn't be teaching mathematics but jocks and airhead whose big claim is that they were awful in math in high school is proof positive they should now teach it. Though the experience would probably be hugely different as if accepted I'd probably be in Hokkaido.

Funnily enough JET selected me for an interview earlier this month, but apparently it absolutely had to be in New York or i had to withdraw my application, so i did. I may, however, look at private companies if I am unable to find a job in America. Or, hell, i could do it in other countries. I know someone who was rejected from JET who went on to teach in South Korea, not knowing a lick of Korean. Korea has good wages but a low cost of living, so it would even out and let me gain headway on student loans...
