Forums - General Discussion - Global Economy Crisis Chatroom

Alrite so as the global economy falls infront of our eyes.

Anybody who knows economic situation that we are in,will know this is just the beginning and we have absolute disaster ahead of us.

So lets start by discussing where we are from and what events we are seeing in our country.

We can discuss other topics such as what are we most worried about and what we forsee.

I am from India.

My country has high inflation rates.

As alot of our economy is domestic so we are currently doing fine on growth scale.

But all growth will come to halt when the global bubble of fiat currency burst.

India as a country is very very poor.We jst have a lot of slave low wage labour which is how my country runs.

In recent months i have also seen alot of immigration from Europe,US and Asian countries.

People think india and china will be fine when Europe and USA collapse. They are all bullshiting.India and China make no technology of their own.Slave countries, thats all.

Oh, boy.

Things aren't nearly as dire as you think.
Housing market is trending to rise this year. There's a turnaround coming, and with that, the rest of the world will lift.

We are in massive debt. Hopefully we can get the debt to go down over time. Cutting the defense budget is a good start I think.

Definitely.

Aircraft Carriers have to be like completely refit every 7 years. They're fucking relics that cost a bazillion dollars.

We have satallites that can rain down ICBMs, and we have the strongest hacking network in the world. We have EMPs that can render an entire country's electronics useless.

We're fucking developing railguns that shoot 220 miles and explode like a tomahawk missile, reaching speeds of mach ten meaning that it goes nearly a mile per second. You see someone on the balcony smoking a cigarette? 4 Minutes later he's dead, from 220 miles away, accurate to 5 feet.

It's just crazy what we can do nowadays that there really is no more need for these fucking gigantic ships.

No. Things are, in fact, much worse then what you want to believe. It is only a matter of time until the Dollar, and all other paper currencies not backed by anything, will fail. You can look back to any time in history and see this. The fact is, that when you base your currency on a perception of value instead of actual value then the currency will continue to lose its value over time until it really isn't worth anything, except for its weight in paper. This is exactly why we need to go back to the gold standard, because gold always has value and that will never change. You can't produce more gold from thin air like you can with our fiat dollar. The government counterfeits every day and that is OK, but if we ever tried to do so it is illegal? Oh, and once the dollar fails it will be immediate with no real forewarning and everyone will be left wondering, "What happened?"....

I do have hope that Ron Paul could change things, but it may already be too late. :/

Ron Paul would turn our country into China. Look up his website. It's all there. He wants to completely deregulate the entire EPA, and dissolve public schooling. Next time you go to China, or shit, just go to LA and take a deep breath, and understand that that is what Ron Paul would do to the entirety of America. He wants us back to industrial America with coal factories, cotton mills, and no kids in school.

He's for giving homeschooling families 7k per year to teach their own kids. How fucked up is that?

Oh and by the way, I used to be for Ron Paul. Like lots of other Americans, there is so much we agree with. Unfortunately, there is also way too much we disagree with, and that is why he will never be a contender.

Economy is getting better, unemployment is going down, housing market is going up. It'll take a while, but we stopped the nosedive, and our exports are going up again. It's still a rocky road, but we'll make it.

Yes, that one that could use a little fix and not complete dismantling.

You do not spend 7k a year in taxes for kids to go to school.
And furthermore, kids SHOULD be in school. They should be learning with OTHER kids, interacting with strangers and other people and adjusting to society. school is where kids learn AND grow socially and societally.

Furthermore, your point is invalid because the stipend doesn't extend to private school. I can claim the 7k if I teach them myself, but not if I send them to private school. It is a crazy world when people think they deserve to be paid for teaching their own kids, which I would call complete and utter neglect.

AND further furthermore, he wants to dismantle public schooling completely. So how is your point even relevant when no taxes would even go to public schools that don't exist?

I'm from the UK

I imagine that our situation is similar to that of the US, except we have significantly fewer natural resources to take advantage of. Government launched huge spending cuts to try and balance the budget - I can't say that I disagree with their methods too much - and people rioted back in August, but that was because they're idiots, not because they actually felt strongly about the cuts. I would say that life is tough, but then I look at Greece and realise that things could get a lot worse from here and we'd still be living in relative luxury.
