~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
Honestly, the demo was god awful in my opinion. I guess RE: Revelations really set the bar high.
- Extremely low frame-rate
- Retarded AI (I don't' know if that's common in the Metal Gear series though)
- Very poor graphics most of the parts
I don't know, maybe nostalgia is a must to fully enjoy this game?
The demo was decent in my eyes but I think I'll go for the Metal Gear Collection instead. The framerate being low really turned me off and no anti-aliasing made the grass look terrible with 3D turned on. This will certainly be a solid Metal Gear game but they could've made so much more out of it other than adding a great 3D effect. The Metal Gear Collection on the other hand features 60fps and 5.1 sound and just offers more bang for your buck.
Just note that I'm entirely new to the series and mostly comparing it to Revelations (well, and Dead Space unintentionally...)
But yeah, try the demo.
CRUSH DEMO was horribel I did not understand how to pass the first bit... after i jumped accross teh platform i get stuck....
Switch!!!
Release a demo when it's possibly a weaker version of the final release, I don't know if that's such a good idea for marketing. But if it is like final release, that doesn't tell well of the game itself. I'll try the demo tonight.
Actually, that one was pretty enjoyable. I liked the 2D < - > 3D mechanic with the L button, and the concept is rather simple and straight-forward.
Did you pay attention to the tutorial which explained that you have to press the L button to switch dimensions?
