I would like to take this time to apologize to everyone for my stupidity, particularly the case where I was adamant that the psv would outsell the 3ds this gen. That being said, I believe the author could not be more wrong by saying he believes the psv will be more successful than the 3ds. Also he compares the vita to the ps3 yet he still believes it will be more successful than the 3ds which if I am not mistaken, is selling at a faster rate than its predecessor which sold more thantwice that of the ps3. People say that the media is usually negative towards sony, but I don't see it. I think people just complain more when a negative sony article is produced and don't give a @#$% when an MS or Nintendo one is made. But that's a topic for another thread....

OPINION: NO NEED FOR CAPS!
He didn't really give any actual argument for why it'd do better than the 3DS. Thus, his credibility is completely nonexistent - he clearly is uneducated and biased, because all evidence right now says the 3DS will be difficult to beat.

So, it's cheaper than the iPhone, is going to have an online store with both cheap and expensive games, has a wide range of support including new and old IPs, and that's why it's going to fail?
Yeah...
wow they say apple is the leader but how is that so when the 3ds holds 96 percent of the entire handheld market . one flaw in this article that has been over looked . but either way it sums it up just right. its not a revolution because all of what vita does has been done before
touch screen=ds
analog-psp
cameras-dsi
motion sensing-kirbys tilt and tumble or something for gba had a motion sensor inside the cartridge and wii lol already had full fledged motion sensing as does the 3ds w its six axis type sensing
ultra powerful graphics-since when has this been a revolution there has always been a higher end handheld each gen but that handheld failed to out sell the nintendo equivalent of the gen so ya
what the vita needs is games and fast
not console ports those wont help . see psp
sony needs to find them self a game that can cater to the handheld market like nintendo found with tetris and pokemon
and if any one thinks it will do better then 3ds they are crazy individuals.
it has already sold 16 million in a year . . twice the amount original ds has , and we all know how that model sold
if this trajectory continues . ---it will be easily the best handheld ever in terms of sales .
viita will have to contend with trying to match psp sales ,
Black background is unfunny. T_T

Just last month? If you replace the word "Vita" with a blank box, I would say you get a template for just about any new tech release in regards to articles. You get a hype brigade early, then you get the critics coming in and knocking it, as is going on now. I have to wonder why the Vita is now seen as less awesome than when it was first announced. It still looks promising to me.
