I feel like I should clarify that a Starfox that took traditional corridor levels and then replaced the "all range" levels with larger, Rogue Leader-style semi-free roam missions? That would be amazing. I'd lose my mind over it.

One thing is clear: The next Star Fox needs to be massive, not just 15 to 20 levels big. And yes, the corridor levels need to be there, not absent like in Star Fox Command, and they should account for the majority of playtime.
I wouldn't mind the all range levels to be larger, because now that the processing power is there, it shouldn't be a problem like on the Nintendo 64 and DS. An Independence Day-like level should be there too again.

Yeah! It could even be on Corneria. Multiple levels per planet could work, but they'd have to make sure to vary the environments in the levels enough to justify it. Liek the first level could be a classic Corneria approach where your'e going through the outskirts of a city and take out the boss at the end, and then the level after that being something like Kantina, only you're flying through the metropolitan center of Corneria city itself, and it's constantly under attack. You'd have different objectives over time, with speed often being a factor, and it'd come to a head in a boss battle with some kinda super weapon.
Yeah. Yeah, if Nintendo made that game, I would miss Rogue Squadron a lot less.
