Apparently what remains of Factor 5 still works with Nintendo when it comes to creating console architecture - they were involved in the Wii and the 3DS, apparently. I like to imagine what a Rogue Squadron game on the Wii U would be like, if carefully designed around the stronger elements of the series.

That would be fantastic if true. While they may not have always hit gameplay out of the park in terms of technology they were top of the game. You are so right about Rogue squadron and just how mind boggingly fantastic it looked. Especially when you compared it to other launch titles for the gamecube, ps2 or even the far more powerful xbox. I believe Factor 5 did use to provide Nintendo with some help in regards to tech design.

I actually met someone from the Lair development staff (he had a t-shirt with it on so wasn't hard to tell lol). This was after the studio had folded and I could tell he was very insecure about Lair. When I started talking to him he seemed slightly timid and his first question was what I had thought about the controls. Talking to him I very much got the impression that sixaxis had not been the planned control scheme at all.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
