Well, if it sold 9 million in 2007, I'd hazard a guess that its sales will drop year-on-year from this point forward, even at a $99 price tag. The other consoles will become more /relatively/ cheap compared to the PS2, including the DS and Wii eventually.

I think it has about 15-22 million sales left in it, depending on when Sony brings out the $99 price tag. The earlier they hit the $99 price tag, the more it will sell obviously (ie: a $99 PS2 will sell more units while the PS3 is still $400 and Xbox 360 is still $280 than it will when the PS3 is $300 and Xbox 360 is $200).
