Well according to Minekraft fans he is, but this makes it seem like he's not.

ps: according to minekraft fans, every fix he makes causes ten more problems, and he goes on vacatino for weeks at a time without bothering with the game. I mean, given that it's a perennial BETA, he really should be there fixing the code rather than slacking off.

I dunno though, this news makes him seem like a pretty kewl guy.

Doublefine boss Tim Schafer and Minecraft creator Markus 'Notch' Persson are in discussion following the latter's insistence that he wanted to help get a Psychonauts sequel off the ground.

A spokesperson for the developer told Eurogamer, "Tim and Markus are talking. Who knows what might happen?"

Just... how much did this guy make off of Minecraft anyway? That he can throw around millions like that?

I mean... I woulda thought he would of made a million or two sure... but enough that he can throw a couple million around?!

According to the website, about 4.9m people have brought minecraft, even if counting it as £10 a pop(That was the price of it in Alpha) but taking taxes etc into account, that's still an impressive sum.

He must be sitting on at least 20-30 probably, but as he said before, the money just goes into the account, and he lives on his normal salary or something, pretty cool guy.
