The horse is holding two guns, one in each hand. Samus is in the spaceship and the spaceship is a greek god.
@OP. This is Megaton, go Nintendo!
If true, I expect great things from Retro Studios / Nintendo then. They better not disappoint.
Getting more and more excited to see where the Wii U ends up in all this. I am loving Zelda SS and cannot wait for an HD zelda. Loving Mariokart 7 and cannot wait for MK in HD. This is going to get fun, and with all this new talent, we are bound to see some great stuff coming from Retro and 3rd parties. Can't wait!

... and it features over two hours of gorgeous cinematics.
OT: I am truly ecstatic over this news. Kudos to Nintendo for not being too proud to get help in the areas that they are less experienced in. This bodes well for Wii U's prosperity.
Given his resume, I wonder what he (Mark Atkinson) will do.
-Be the guy that helps internal teams to solve those little engine problems that can halt developments?
-Be the guy that helps 3rd parties to find ways to use the hardware's full potential?
-Develop a new in-house engine powerful enough to rival third party (aka Epic) ones? (Nah, I don't think so)
Please excuse my bad English.

Consumers will be able to figure out what is junk and what is good easier than on the wii. They will be courting 3rd parties like we have not seen since the Snes days. Plus as we can see they are bringing over experienced personnel to help this come to place. It seems that Nintendo has really actually learned from their mistakes this time. 3DS, GC, N64 and Wii mistakes all at once. |
Nintendo courted third parties during the SNES?
@OT. Interresting.... I keep forgetting that Nintendo is still using early 2000 tech.
I hope they expand Retro into many studios making many games at once.
Reminds me of Sega Technical Institute, and Sega's western studio empire before it collapsed. Nintnedo should really try to create something similar.
I LOVE ICELAND!
