Why don't they just throw the minimap down there? Would that really cost so much?

No. They chose not to port to a platform that was barely announced since they are already extremely busy with the PS3/360/PC versions.

You can't seriously expect all future 3rd party games to come to Wii U. Developers won't just start porting all their current projects to the Wii U........

THis, just this. Some NINTY fans need to chill, we know you've been missing out all gen, but have patience let the damn console get a release date and price point before calling foul. Christ

Oniyide, look closely at what he wrote. In Bold, loud and clear. It has nothing to do with timing, or patience. Read what VGKing wrote and you get what gets under my skin, right there.

Yes, we expect all future 3rd party games to come to Wii U if they are multiplat (PS360). Yes, it might be too soon as oni said, but in the long run we expect ALL future 3rd party games to come to Wii U. There is no sane reason for it not to happen, unless something deeply grave is happening behind the veil that we don't see. Either shunning the Nintendo platform, or Nintendo missing the mark with 3rd parties for x reason, or a mix of the two.

I agreed with everything up to now oni, but what VGKing is saying is EXACTLY what I resent. It's upsetting how you agree with statements like that so easily, because other times you display clarity. You confuse me sometimes.

I was just having some fun. I think what VGKing is meaning to say, is that we cant expect all games being made right now to go to WII U.  It takes years to make these games, as ive stated some games take years to make. For instance BIoshock Infinite that game's been inthe pot for a while. Its still not released, but would you really expect that to come out day and date on WIi U?? Some of these games might flop and they dont want to put more money into it. Meaning no ports. Some of the games are too far in dev to stop production and start again on Wii U. Some companies will deal with WIi U of the bat, some wont, thats just the way it is. Hell PS3 missed out on a few games in the beginning but I rarely heard any of them complain as much. NOW if summer comes and whenever the system releases and then we dont hear about any PS360 games coming, then we have a problem

Just for the sake of curiosity what games are people expecting to hit Wii U 3rd party wise??

Yeah, I think games like Bioshock which take 2+ years to make and have  to be top quality (even the ports), until the Wii U is released I'm not expecting any promises, but for let's say at least a fair portion (say 50-50) of these long-devtime games I expect to see them ported. But for games that are begining development as of the reception of SDKs, I expect at least 80% of them to be fully multiplat. Okay sdk learning curve sure, 20% could use that as an excuse, but in general these are businesses that should be ready for the next gen. Guaranteed were it 720 sdks they would be steadfast. I expect the same for Nintendo. ;)

Once the Wii U is launched though, I expect 99% of multiplat games to appear on it. They would have had a year to toy with the sdks by then. No excuse would be acceptable at that point, not in my eyes at least. And we both see eye to eye on that too, which is sublime. :)

If they don't want to get stuck in the same lose-lose situation they've been in all this generation, they had better get off their asses and get to porting now. Strike while the iron is hot, or they'll never be able to develop for Wii U

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

50/50?? that makes sense to me. Ninja Gaiden 3, Darksiders 2, Aliens CM, Tekken, Sonic, are all rumored.  99% by the time Wii U after Wii U release?? That would be nice, as much as i have fun watching some people melt down, fair is fair.

@bold: They're rumored for Wii U or realz? How do you keep track man, I don't know how some of you do it. Haha. :) My memory sucks for some things ;) I was hoping you could confirm I read that right.

@meltdowns: Some loyal fans are level-headed. Passionate, but level-headed :D

I have a GI description and they do a hell of a job of reporting previews, they were the first to report the South PArk RPG being released this year. Nnja Gaiden, Darksiders and ALiens are confirmed. Tekken is being worked on, i have actually seen screens, SOnic is a rumor
