I made a thread  where I invited people to pick their favourite Zelda before the release of Skyward Sword (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=136575&page=1)

Now after playing Skyward Sword, have you still the same opinions, has this game took the first spot?

I have to admit that while Wind Waker universe is still my favourite, Skyward Sword gameplay is superior compared to all other previous game. The Wii motion + controls, all the ideas who revolve around it, the new abilities that Link possess, all the boss fights, the more challenging enigma, the use of items and their upgrade system, all of that is really above any other episode in the serie.

So I think it was worth to make a new poll about it.

It is still ALTTP . Skyward 2nd

While skyward still pisses me off on some simple things it is more easier to replay and makes the old ones outdated. To go back is to live in the Stone Age

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

The original. Best game ever for its time, IMO. A Link to the Past is really tied for my favorite though, so I voted for that.

Just talking 3D Zelda's however, I like Ocarina, Majora and Wind Waker more than Skyward Sword, with Twilight Princess probably being my least favorite, but I love them all anyway.

Hands down A Link To The Past. I still remember it being on top of the Nintendo Power Charts for like forever. Skyward Sword #2, Wind Waker #3.

its still Majora's Mask, with OOT and LTTP following closely behind, but to be fair I only just started Skyward Sword. I just got to the first dungeon

It's not that easy.

Skyward Sword is number 1 by far when it comes to story, gameplay, and music. I'm about to enter the last dungeon and I don't think I've ever been stumped once by any of the puzzles. Maybe I'm just too used to the Zelda style and Miyamoto's way of thinking. It's a lot of fun but it seems a bit easy. It doesn't even have a boomerang!

Ocarina of Time is number 1 when it comes to innovation. It still has what I consider the best dungeons in the Zelda series. Replaying it last year on the 3DS makes me believe this even more.

As far as scope and graphics, Wind Waker takes the cake. Too much charm in that art style. The fighting style, the fully fleshed out world. No other Zelda game does it better.

A Link to the Past does the most with a little bit. It's probably the most playable and re-playable of all Zelda games.

But, for me, the "Winner and Still Champion" is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's the Zelda game I always dreamed of. The best boss fights in the business. Best selection of gadgets. Huge world. Great set pieces. Superb puzzles and dungeons. Excellent pacing with a perfect build up. Twilight Princess is the culmination of everything a Zelda game should be. It's a class act all the way.

Wind waker is my favorite, but i feel the same way about twilight princess as you Its the best one i just cant let go of windwaker though lol.

A Link to the Past. The smart people's choice.

For me, A Link to the Past was the first great Zelda. I had tried Zelda II on the Nes and it was to damned confusing. I couldn't figure out what the hell I was supposed to do or where I was supposed to go. I later got my hands on the gold cartridge of the original. It felt good but there wasn't a whole lot of logic to it. I'm sure it was super ambitious at the time of its launch but thinking like a normal person wouldn't get you through that game. I later beat it just to say I beat it but goddam, that was torture. And it wasn't even worth it.

With Ocarina of Time, it all made sense. The puzzles, the bosses and their weaknesses, everything. I beat that game without a guide (even though it came packed with a mini-guide) and loved every minute of it. I don't think it's the end all and be all of Zelda games, though. I think it's the father of modern Zelda. The end of the beginning, if you will. It stands up amazingly well considering it's almost 20 years old but I think the newer games top it.

No where near. It has the best controls but that's where SS's greatness ends. Its about as lame as WW was.

1)OoT
2)Lttp
3)Original

Any combo of those 3 is acceptable.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
