I'm about to enter the last dungeon and I don't think I've ever been stumped once by any of the puzzles. Maybe I'm just too used to the Zelda style and Miyamoto's way of thinking. It's a lot of fun but it seems a bit easy. It doesn't even have a boomerang! Ocarina of Time is number 1 when it comes to innovation. It still has what I consider the best dungeons in the Zelda series. Replaying it last year on the 3DS makes me believe this even more. As far as scope and graphics, Wind Waker takes the cake. Too much charm in that art style. The fighting style, the fully fleshed out world. No other Zelda game does it better. A Link to the Past does the most with a little bit. It's probably the most playable and re-playable of all Zelda games. But, for me, the "Winner and Still Champion" is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's the Zelda game I always dreamed of. The best boss fights in the business. Best selection of gadgets. Huge world. Great set pieces. Superb puzzles and dungeons. Excellent pacing with a perfect build up. Twilight Princess is the culmination of everything a Zelda game should be. It's a class act all the way. |
Wind waker is my favorite, but i feel the same way about twilight princess as you Its the best one i just cant let go of windwaker though lol.
