The truth about meat: it's delicious.

don't be silly! it's a serious matter! who would have thought meat is actually made out of animals!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Well, that's the thing. Many North Americans/Europeans want to eat meat every day, so it has to be inexpensive and that's why it has to be "produced" in the most cost effective way. (ofcourse companies want to maximize their profits aswell)

I buy Amish raised.
It may cost a little more but it's well worth it.

Most of the farming animals would have a far crueler death in the wild. Also, plants are the only kind of organism who doesnt feed or need to kill other organisms in order to survive. So, being a vegan, for me, is less moral.

Ever heard of a Venus Fly Trap?

You mean a cow that naturally grazes taste better than a cow that eats corn and chicken crap while standing knee high in cow manure?  I am just pointing out how shitty factory farms are which hopefully even more people become aware of.

Plants are the worst! They wait for other organisms to die and rot before they feed on them! sometimes they even feed on parts of themselves!  makes me sick!

but on a more serious note, you will hardly find an organism on this planet that does not feed on other life in one way or the other.
