I just breezed through it on the easy level. I liked it.

Played it on the 360 and it was fun and looked good but the AI was trash even on delta. The enemies always knew where you were no matter what and could see through objects and hundreds of yards in the distance when you were in the middle of the forest.

I'm thinking of buying it since its so cheap on the psn atm.

Weird. I haven't experienced this at all. When I use cover such as fences and crates I never feel I get discovered unless a big part of my body is actually sticking out. And in forests if I'm obscured by bushes and trees the enemies don't see me either. They do have very long distance vision through forests and landscapes, but the field of vision must be clear or else they don't see me. I am very impressed by this system in Crysis, the enemy alert system.

I accidentally bought Crysis on PS3 and did not regret it. I loved how much more of an open world game it was compared to the sequel and how the AI was not a bunch of complete retards. The controls are a little worse and the style of play takes getting used to, but it is very different from the many linear shooters out there and certainly worth $10.

I just beat it and earned my very first Platinum trophy!

I am so proud and I also loved the game very much.

great i'll look into it

Even on consoles it's a very good game.

It's a good port, but certainly not the best one. Graphics are still very good, though compared to the PC version it has a fair amount of pop-ins and of a lower resolution. Nevertheless it looks almost the same.
In heavy firefights with ~5 enemies at once firing at you, the FPS can go down to ~20, but that shouldn't happen too often, as you're as good as dead when they you'd take so many hits.

Also what I found weird is that the character is moving pretty slow. Certainly slower than in the PC version.

Controls are really good however and I really like that they changed the power jump, melee and sprint to the Crysis 2 standard. Only things I'll miss now are the lines: Maximum Strength, Maximum Speed and Maximum Game :P

PC version is a 9.1 for me, console version 8.7 as there is no Crysis Wars.

Why not a 9.2 or an 8.8?

Why not a 9.2 or an 8.8?

Because I made a text document for all games I've played this gen with my personal scores so I can compare my experience with Crysis to other games. If I like a game more than Crysis it's going to be 9.2 or more and if I don't like it as much 9.0 or less.
Due to comparing each game with each other and the fact that I've played more than 200 games this gen, I think I'm allowed to use more detailed scores than just 9/10 or 8.5/10.
