when will nintendo put ssb on the ds

I remember someone making a thread about this, and I ask the same question.

I don't think they will until the next DS comes out, but who knows, maybe they are already working on it.

I thought I saw screen shots somewhere ...must have been photo shop i guess :/
But if they made it like shonen jump super stars it would work perfect for ds.

Hardware limitations could be holding them back.

Why havn't they come out with one on the GBA or DS previously? I'm not expecting it, still...

Reggie mentioned a SSB DS back in 2005 in the same interview in which he mentioned bringing the Play-yan (an adapter cartridge that accepts SD cards to play music and movies on your GBA or DS) to the US. Case in point: It's not going to happen.

Super smash bros on the go? Why does the idea of that make me feel all tingly inside? Hopefully Nintendo wont be foolish enough to miss out on the opportunity.
