If Michael Pachter is to be trusted, MCV's report is off the mark. 

Financial magazine and website Forbes is reporting quotes from Pachter about MCV's rumor. "I think there's zero chance of a tease from Sony for PlayStation 4," Pachter told Forbes, continuing that a new Xbox at E3 is unlikely, too, placing the odds at "20 percent." 

"Neither console is launching in 2013, so there's no reason to tease them in 2012," Pachter concluded. 

This flies in the face of the original MCV report, the source of which was described by MCV editor Ben Parfitt on Twitter as "exemplary, 100% concrete, ultra high level." 

I didnt believe it either Patcher!

But now...Maybe its true?

If the PS4 or the next Xbox are announced at E3 it'll be to dilute interest in the Wii U.

Some guy from MCV who originally broke the news that the PS4 and Nextbox would come at E3.

So that means PS4 will absolutely be at E3 2012

im gonna have to agree with him there even for both MS and sony i would be kinda shocked if either one shows anything meaningful next gen wise for the first 3 quarters of this year, mainly b/c there still some big current gen games yet to release and that its possible that both of them to have there best sales year if they dont reveal anything

a better time to reveal would be 2013 with even a fall 2013 release
