It's so funny to me that everyone calls Nintedo "inovative". They really didn't do that until this generation. Lets take a look back before the Wii. Gamecube, N64, and Super Nintendo. Although all of these consoles saw great games, some more then others, they didn't really offer anything drastically different from the competition, aside from its flagship IPs. Nintendo took a huge gamble with the Wii, that payed off. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are going to win the next generation. The huge reason they have been more successful this generation is price point. They don't have as many great games as the PS3 or the360, period. They have the same excellent first party titles, released slowly over the consoles lifespan as usual, as they did over the past few generations. Their success, has come from their motion controls. People are getting bored of it. If all of the consoles were $199, Nintendo would be iin dead last. It's just how it is. I've been at many retailers, where mom and dads are purchasing games based on their price point. The Wii-U is going to fail, unless it is considerably cheaper then its competitors. I applaud Nintendo for trying to innovate new ways to play games. But, I wish they would have the great games the other consoles have. If they can do that, they will succeed. If not, Sony or M$ will dominate the next generation.
