I have always called it S N E S. I didn't know people call it snes as a single word.

Maybe that's why "an" just sound right to me.

So, both are correct depending on how to pronounce SNES?

I used to call it S N E S, now I call it snes (one word) BUUUUT it doesn't matter how you pronounce it, both are correct either way
