Do you get to keep the psx games after your trial ends?

No you dont, and thats my main problem with PSN+, if I dont want the service any more, anything that I have purchased using it goes away. Its like a trap, you have to stay a member to really benefit. That goes for discounted things too.

You keep discounted things forever. If you pay anything for it, you keep it

no you dont, when I was a member, I had bought Sonic 2 and KZ3 expansion and Streets of Rage 2, when it expired I was no longer able to use them and would have had to buy them again

I think I know what the problem is those items you mentioned have been given for free at sometime during the last year of ps+

As they were given away for free on day one of release, if you downloaded them when they were on offer, you were not allowed to buy them whilst you were a ps+ member as you technically already own them.

I'm convinced you never actually paid for these items. My advice check your reciepts because I think you'll find that you were never charged for them.

I think you are WRONG:

Q: What happens when my PlayStation Plus subscription ends?

A: The content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber. The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber. Anything you have purchased (even if you purchased it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.

There is a TROLL among us

oniyide isn't trolling.  He just happens to be mistaken on this point.

People who yell "troll" every  time somebody says something they don't like are often more annoying than actual trolls.

I agree, so much good stuff. I remember all the hate when it first came out, people saw the releases for the month and cried "This isn't worth $50!" Of course, no one month is worth an entire years subscirption, but after the 16 months or so it's been released, it's been worth over 10X that.

Kept my eye on it, and I can safely say it would have been a waste my money.

Say if my subscription ended in March. If I buy another year subscription does it roll over with the one I currently have? Or do i have to wait till it ends completely to renew it?

It rolls over.

Like others, I can only sing PSN+'s praises. Extraordinarily good value for money.

I used to enjoy it, until I started receiving games I didn't really want or didn't have time for. I'm just not really a big fan of PSN games.

It adds to your current subscription. If it ends march 2012, the new date will be march 2013

I prefer the way Steam does it. I don't have enough time to play all the games PSN+ offers so I pick and choose through Steam.

How does Steam do it differently?
