Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon 3DS

- Predict a name for the next Pokemon games
Pokémon Gray. That seems to be the most logical name after Black/White. Who knows though, Nintendo might ultimately go into a complete new direction and start implementing elements but that might not work considering the core aspect of the game is based on elements. I don't know!

- Will this provide a substantial hardware boost to the 3DS?
Definitely. I myself have been buying these damn games for some reason even though I though in the beginning that it was a fad, still think it's a fad and continue to purchase it anyway even after I haven't finished a game since 2nd gen era.

- When do you think Pokemon 3DS will be announced / released?
The smart thing for Nintendo is to announce it at E3 2012 just to continue momentum but I think it will be announced much later in the year or early 2013

- Will you be buying it?
Fuck yes

- Do you think that it will incorporate something like what we've seen in Pokedex 3D? Ie. 3D battle sprites?
I hope so anyway. It would be great to finally see Pokémon like it was meant to: in full 3D environment with the most interactive experience and full blown interaction with NPC's, and its surroundings.

the only thing I care about is that the new pokemon aren't ugly

You'll find them hideous at first. Then you'll start to accept them, and finally grow to love them. Just like how everybody reacts to every generation.

I didn't react that way to the first and second generation. I saw pikacu and thought he was cool, Zapdos and the birds looked all kinds of awesome, Charizard and Blastoise were the most wanted cards on the school playground because of how badass they were. Same with Lugia and the three legendary dogs.

Pokemon back then looked much more like real things, and were all better for it.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Pokemon Gray or Pokemon Yellow 3D
