Digital sales are the Achilles' heel of VGC and all sales tracking companies.

Figures should be alot higher than PSPGo -- games are ~20% cheaper on PSN than retailers (based off the MSRP/ RRP), also from what i have heard accedotally SONY's memory card shipments were skewd towards the 16gb / 32gb cards and these sold out. Now there isn't much reason to need anything bigger than 8gb unless you plan on buying games off PSN. 

Also i doubt we will see many official sales figures from SONY unless something encourages SONY to include them in financial reports as the information is too valuable to give out for free. (publishers may make annoucements, though they will probably annouce shipped+digital downloads)

The fact games are cheaper on PSN will make the difference from the PSPgo figures. But yeah, we dont know what was their expectation.

PSPgo was a flop because it didn't give users a discount or choice, and it was akward to use. Now gamers can choose DL or physical and they get a discount for going DL and the DL catalog isn't limited.

As digital sales are becoming more and more important everyday, it's becoming of VITAl importance to track this kind of sales.

I guess the next microsoft console will also have huge sells of their games via digital download (at least in the most developed countries). Maybe the sony console will have this same business model of selling digital cheaper than physical.

If this is the case, how is VGChartz gonna track em'?
I think it's time to make some efforts to try and get some figures of digital sales.

ikr i always laugh when the companies say that.   i mean if you expect to sale 100 and sale 101 you exceeded expectations.

well this isnt a good thing ,, if the digital sales are good that means we will be forced in the near future by sony to buy digital copies , ugh, sorry but if that happens im staying as far away from sony as possible ,,

dont see how thats good news , its hardware sales we need to be worried about , games will will always sell more then hardware ,,
because theirs more of them see gamecube , even with its low sales figure its games sold remarkably well

so no big deal here, cause ya that could mean anything ,
that dont make vita sell more which is key!
cause if vita is not selling as good as 3ds what good is it to report games sales!

I don't know why they can't just pay off someone who works on psn regularlairly or ask the companies nicely and offer them some cash.
