So so numbers for Vita, the lineup wasn't something great but it certainly was miles better (and varied) than 3DS's

Anyway I don't think we should call it "doomed" right now, to me it will be a lot more succesfull than PSP

What is this site going to do about tracking digital sales. Vita is the first system to launch with a store that sells all retail releases in digital form and have an infinite number of PSN exclusive titles.

With Sony making a bigger effort to bring all of the retail PS3 games to the PSN and the 360 having its catalog of 360 retail releases on their Marketplace, how will this site keep up.

The only ones who will have the numbers will be Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. We'd only have reports at the quarter briefings.

And so the gap finally starts to shrink.

Nintendo did moneyhat capcom in a way.
The circle pad is made by capcom, not nintendo.
I'm sure there was a big deal involving that as I do not believe that Nintendo would be one to let free money fly out the window.
Other than that, I'm sure there was no moneyhatting involved.
Why would capcom balk at selling a game AND an overpriced peripheral? The circle pad probably costs a couple dollars for them to make.

This. Nobody said Monster will stay exclusive to 3DS. I'm predicting that at least Monster Hunter 4G comes out for Vita. Sony knows how important MH is in Japan, and they WILL moneyhat Capcom if they have to. No way MH will stay exclusive to Ninty.

I can't believe some people are seriously saying that these are bad numbers. Yes less than 3DS launch but did you know that 3DS is successor to the best selling console ever in Japan? These are good launch numbers.

ouch. Isnt this less then 3ds opening sales? Didnt the 3DS sell this much with the release of Monster Hunter?

Well at its price point its clearly gonna have a 3ds decline in sales until Sony has the same epiphany as Nintendo did.
