DAMN YOU, GOOGLES. How dare you make your services streamlined and better for 99% of users moving forward? What about ME???!?!?!?!?!11

Seriously? How does having to log out of your email just so you can use youtube make things "Streamlined"? You know what makes things better for everyone?  NOT FORCING THEM TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO!

I pretty much just stopped logging onto YouTube. I don't really see any point into logging onto the account anymore if I am just going to randomly watch videos. Leaving comments is pretty much pointless since there is usually only a few people capable of posting comments that are actually worth a damn. Basically, I haven't liked YouTube that much since they started flooding their videos with commercials. I understand they need to make money but I'm good on bs commercials.

Jesus. Look at Google's services. They launched G+. They integrated Picasa into it. They're probably going to integrate YouTube into it as well. They're pushing their cloud services and also integrating Android into everything they do. And that's not even mentioning their previous iteration of Gmail for business and all their business-related applications (Adsense, Adwords, Analytics). All of this needed to be tied together and yes, the integration was ugly at times (you think yours was bad? You should have seen my problems in linking FIVE different Google accounts). Google's entire infrastructure has been reworked to incorporate this new (and BETTER) system or maybe you didn't notice that new Google icon drop-down menu that puts all their services within two clicks of where ever you are at the moment.

But no, you're right. Obviously, since you're going through a bit a rough patch, Google should ignore the MILLIONS OF CURRENT AND FUTURE USERS WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS and cater to your needs because you're having difficulty seeing past the end of your own nose.

Besides, why the fuck would you want to comment on YouTube anyway? The dumbest 5% of the internet staked their claim on that site years ago and no one with a brain has returned since.

Seriously, people. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture before squealing like a stuck pig on an internet forum about a mounting problem that Google should have fixed four years ago, much less leave it as-is today.

Listen Peaches, what good is the internet if I can't bitch about something? I seldom complain about things but this is kind of an irritating itch. I post on youtube to ask questions on posted videos, post videos on my facebook account amongst other things  (believe it or not, there are actually useful posters on youtube, yes they are few and far between but they exist) so yes, I need my account to post stuff.

And randomly, nothing else signs me out of one thing when I try to get into another so I don't get why this has to happen. It was fine a couple of weeks ago, why the sudden change? Did it not occur to them that people can have more than one email address that they use often? Why is that so hard to believe?

If you can't see why unifying Google's logins is an absolute necessity over the long run, I won't even bother having this conversation with you. I outlined half of it above and if you can't fill in the gaps to see how removing the key component (a unified login) from that system would break the entire thing, fuck it. I gots better things to do.

This isn't rocket science.

Why would anyone accept something that's bad for them just because there are lots of others that think it's good?

Because it's 10 minutes of integration work that makes the entire system work better.

And if you can't accept that, then at least acknowledge that you can see the big picture and why the move was made. At least that's something.

Or the OP could have dug into Google's new system and noticed that they now allow fast account switching, which would probably solve his "problem".

Why are you being aggressive towards me? My argument is with Google/youtube not you so chill.

Because your argument is short-sighted and ill-informed. In the amount of time it took you to start this thread, you could have figured out how to fix the "problem" (that is really an improvement).

If you didn't want people to argue with you, you shouldn't have started this thread.

There's a difference between arguing a point and being rude and insulting.
