Warhawk was one of my favorite games for PS3. I enjoyed playing with some of you from VGC in the Warhawk league. I just recently downloaded the beta from Starhawk and decided to upload some videos, with each video focusing on specific areas of gameplay. The first vid I uploaded shows the building aspects of Starhawk.

Loving the beta so far, only downside is Atmosphere is a little lacking (in terms of sound) but right now the game seems perfect.

I agree. The most amazing thing I've noticed is how the base building can drastically change the look of the map. To be honest, I've spent more time trying different building tactics than testing combat.

Basically, it is quite awesome, though as a beta, I am struggling to connect to games quite a lot, but when I do get in, I'm having a great time building and then flying around in my hawk, landing, then running away again!

The best part of that video is at the 3:45 mark. The player on the other team grabs our flag, runs me over with the razorback, and has to make a U-turn back to our base.

He still managed to capture the flag.

You should see how i play, no bragging or anything, but i always manage to kill a mech without being on a truck or another mech, its easier to out move a mech by throwing grenades at it and it being slow to turn around. last time i played i along with one guy went into a base with a razorback, and then i made him take the flag and jumped off the car to stall the other team, and i managed to kill 3 mechs single handely with just my rifle and grenades.

I'm loving it...and I think the mechs are easier to take down while your own foot as well, especially if you have your grenades and a good gun, you are golden. I already took down around 3-4 mechs while on foot. i personally can't fly to save my life lol i suck at it...but the build and play portion is so so awesome. brings such a fun tactical aspect to it...can be annoying tho when some idiot puts a gate...other way around :S I use the jetpacks way more than the hawks at the moment

btw can someone remind me how to set mines? :S
