Thats actually one of my biggest grip about the game, since when does the ultimate weapons doesnt serve any purpose in a FF. I mean, if you are able to farm Yomi, you are surely able to easily take on any monster in the game. And like you said, the paradox weapon are stronger anyway. Weapon/accessory were a bit broken compare to many other jRPG out there. Its a very good game nonetheless though.

Who else found Yomi easier than Raspital?

Really? I found Yomi pretty hard compared to Raspital; what monsters did you have?

Thermadon A strong Com but with Leadenstrike locked in which automatically made him useless
Baccuho (A goblin Ravager) I forget how to spell the name properly, with early peaker...he was kinda weak but always gave it his best.
A caterpillar medic...thoroughly average medic, nothing to write home about

But at the time of facing both Yomi and Rasp, they were my best team I guess it also didn't help that I went into the fight with Rasp thinking it was going to be another genero monster when trying to fill up my Bestiary.

imo every battle was easy, except one... which i've spent hours with, becuz my Sentinel Monsters were weak, and i didn want to farm stuff to level em..

maybe u know which i mean. :P

Considering I never once got a sentinel monster to drop for me until I actually finished my first playthrough and even then it was until I actually stole the Silver Chocobo that I actually got my first, thus leaving me HIGHLY underpowered. I think it's safe to say I know what you mean and I agree with you.

got the Platinum trophy now. the Bestiary wasnt as bad to complete as i thought it would be, only this rare guy in Academia 500 gave me a headache, i searched, and searched, and searched... until i realized that i did it heavilly wrong.

i finally beat yomi today thanks to my Yakshini! i was struggling for abit so i decided to max out my yakshini and when i went back i done it on first try and actually got through quite easily. Long Gui is just stupidly easy to beat! i decided to finish off Yomi before trying him because i though he'd be much harder, turned out he was much MUCH easier than Yomi.
i Still have to go to oerba yet to fight raspitail(is he hard? i know he has 3 million HP right?)

Raspital is easy, you just need to buff/debuff and make sure he doesn't summon his buddies when you stagger him. With a good team, you can easily drain half of his health in one stagger.

The gil and CP he gives you is ridiculous, I got three encounters in a row and ended up with 650,000 gil. xD

depends on the level i guess, but i laughed rasp in the face, i remember Yomi to be quite harder (read: time consuming, because you cant just rush into Yomi's face)

edit @ brendude: yeah, i just remembered, Rasp itself gives 50.000 of both.. and i think i didnt even have the moogleskills that boosted it.. (or, did i? dunno.. still, even 25.000 is a lot ^^)
