Guys, this definitely isn't Resident Evil 6.

It's a survival horror game involving zombies called either the Last of Us or Until Dawn (depending on if the former is just a slogan for the latter), as Sony have trademarked both titles. Or maybe both are potential titles for the same game.

It's probably developed by either Sony Santa Monica or a third party developer, with Sony publishing either way. For example, it could be Ready at Dawn's new IP.

Honestly, given the game is supposedly "mind blowing", as are the graphics, it's probably Sony Santa Monica. You can't sell a zombie game as mind blowing in the current industry without some serious pedigree behind it, and only a handful of teams have the talent to make a ps3 game look mind blowing, all of which are owned by Sony. Plus, we haven't heard a peep out of Santa Monica since God of War III came out 1.5 years ago. It's time for them to reveal their next project.

Edit:

And it's definitely not that move game.  Keighly was going on about how amazed he was that nothing about this game has leaked.  A five second clip in a montage from over a year ago would certainly fly in the face of everything he's said.

Plus, that game looked like something more like Cursed Mountain than a zombie survival game.

Maybe this game is actually just called the last of us and is a completely new game and not a sequel/prequel to games which we have already heard of. (i.e resident evil).

I was hoping for a God of War 4 :( But I totally do agree with you it is most likely Santa Monica or if not then Resident Evil 6. I really want a new God of War though and with online play. But we'll just have to wait for December 10th to come to see what game it reall is. I'm getting bored of new IP's I want an estabilshed franchise like God of War to come up with a sequel

I'm surprised that a secret is actually being handled to this degree. By Sony no less. Keighley is even toying with people.

Yeah, it makes you wonder about all the supposed "leaks" of former games.

For some reason the political vibe makes me think Metal Gear. But that's just my inner-fanboy being hopeful :(

If a company wants a secret to be kept. Then that secret gets kept. That simple. If something "leaks" out then someone isn't doing there job. But everything is under lock and key. So if (by some chance) something gets out, then someone has punishment coming. Possible termination.

Like those "screenshots" of Sony's Title Fight, the game will happen, but it might not be at the VGA's. Or Sony could have let some stuff slip about Title Fight so they can distract the gaming media and gamers.

Like throwing brains in a zombie game to distract them so you can go through untouched.

Yes the slew of new ips really defined this year. All two of them...

Anyway it isn't going to be resident evil 5, by far the best selling capcom title on the 360... Sony would have to pay capcom way more then they stand to benefit from having the game as an exclusive.

It seems pretty clear that the title of the game is going to be The Last of Us... And since its about fungus and ants and all, it will be infected people, not really "dead", who get mind controlled to help the fungus spread, probably via biting other people so they can make a game out of it. Similar to the fungus that exists in real life that can infect ants and make them get themselves killed so it can spread.

Hopefully they will try to make the game interesting with conflict between people as well as zombies, otherwise I'll probably just stick to left 4 dead.
