aren't those called toaster ovens. 

The only time I came across something called a toaster oven was in The Sims... but Microwaves can't toast things, so unless it's an American misnomer then no, what I am thinking of is definitely a microwave. (2 dials, one sets the strength of the microwaves, the other is like a winding timer)

You have to wonder why this isn't more prevalent. They have microwaves that act as convection ovens and cost thousands but all make the same stupid sound. You could probably add the components for $50, so why has it not been implemented on high end models? Has nobody working for appliance companies thought of it?
