It's somewhat better than most gaming communities, but just like other gaming sites, it still has a lot of people who can't see the faults within their favorite franchises. I'll use this as an example. Zelda is one of my favorites, but Skyward Sword was held back due to all the filler, thus it didn't deserve all those perfect scores. A lot of Zelda fans on this site wouldn't say that.

You are the third person who said this avatar was ugly. It was the only good one I could find of Tadpole Jackson. :(

I've new to this site and have only been here for about a month I started out an all out fanboy but I got tired of it. so now I just post on threads that I am knowledgeable enough to post my opinion about, sure here and then if I see a post that I might not agree with, you'll see me post some ignorant fanboy-ish comment. But when I do please call me out and correct me because I'd rather know the facts then continue and plaque the forums with ignorance. =]

Most are nice people (which is 90%). the 10% are ****heads.

lets just say VGChartz community is better then IGN, Gamespot, Xplay combined.

I say the place is just below the number of average regular posters to make it fun. Gaf always is fun but it is to bloated it would take years to get to know people other than the ones the kept posting in your same interest threads. This community of regular posters seems to have shrunk I'd say over the last year and a half. If more don't participate I feel that there will be continually be less reasons to be here. As far interesting sales discussions go, I think they will not happen until the new consoles come, not the portables as less people care about those on here. I wont rate it because that is not what will make things better.

I give it an 8 when i first came it was a 10 though as vgchartzs was the first forum i ever messed with still love this site though.

Back in 2008 and 2009 it was a solid 9, in 2010 it was about a 7 or 8 but now I think it's about a 4 or a 5 because we have about 10 regular users who are good.
