I found some people in here that i like, really good honest people and that`s always a plus! Unfortunately, There`s a too much of a concern in winning conversations than in just talking and sharing something with others.

so true, I've committed this crime a few times myself.

Around the Network

Ok I will be honest. I do love this community alot, there are some very intelligent people on here and I love reading what they have to say. I have been on this site for a few years and I am even starting to like people that trolled and banned me a while ago.

The big problem with this site are peoples loyalty to one console, it really frustrates me sometimes because a nice topic regarding sales or an exclusive of a console would be created and all of sudden the thread is destroyed by haters and naysayers putting all the people down in the thread. The latest example would be the Sony smash brawl game, the topic was destroyed by fanboys. Members were not allowed to be happy about news.

We have a fantastic community going on here, we should not be looking in the past and wishing for what vgchartz was years ago because it never will be the same. We have to embrace the change and look forward to enlarging the community. Again, I wish I could have intelligent discussions with the main members (you know who you are) and even become mates on this but unfortunately I feel peoples obsessions with the sales of a certain console tends to make people bitter.

I am sure a few people hate me on this but I will never leave this site so you will have to live with me I am afraid!

This community rocks: 8/10

I`m not perfect either! :p
Nothing like doing it differently next time!

6/10, used to be 9/10, and will most likely drop to a 3/10.

Vgchartz used to be awesome, but there aren't enough people actually talking about videogames, so its become pointless to make a gaming related thread that won't get overshadowed by some controversial gaming news or a re-hashed "Your Top 10" thread. I've actually started visiting Gamefaqs more than here in the last six months because the discussions are about games.

I think a lot of people on here don't have any meaningful relationships with people outside of the web, and end up bottling up their opinions until they can release them through a virtual persona. They use Vgchartz as a medium to express themselves freely and talk about topics that they're too afraid to talk about anywhere else. It's pathetic. I mean if I want to talk about politics, or religion, or economics, or protests, or some court case, I'd rather go to well..........ANY other site than a gaming site.

Back in 2008 and 2009 it was a solid 9, in 2010 it was about a 7 or 8 but now I think it's about a 4 or a 5 because we have about 10 regular users who are good.

Thanks.  I appreciate the compliment.

I give the site a 7.  It was a 9 or 10 when I started here.  The community was the reason that I initially joined.  That and you had to sign up in order to see all of the sales numbers in those days.
