I  don't mind is she is aquited as the statement has already been made, be a 'xenophobic bitch' in public and get arrested. I, as a white British citizen, do not want people like her in my country.

Are you out of your mind? There's a line between speaking your mind or being an outright bigot where very hurtful insults are thrown directly at people. She crossed the line into the latter. And even worse, she did it while holding her son as a shield from harm. She is disgusting and the kid deserves a better mother.

Coming from the UK i do feel that this woman was and is an embarrassment in the way she went about expressing her views and being blatantly racist in doing so but with all the people being allowed entry into this country and being able to claim all benefits under the sun is bankrupting us, fair enough it isnt them to blame completely but because of them, like she said, Britain is in the shit now!

About this, I just wanted to point out that, not only in UK, it happens here in Italy too, and I suppose also in the rest of the world, it looks like you are supposed to be more politically correct towards some ethnic and religious groups than others. For example nobody cares about offending Christians or Buddhists, while almost everybody is careful to avoid offending Muslims. Jews can be offended only if they are from Israel, and in that case Italian lefties find it almost mandatory to offend them. Everybody finds acceptable to hate China due to large scale death penalty, outsourcing and loss of workplaces in the West.  Only blacks can call "n*" another black or themselves. I find all this in the best case ridiculous, in the worst hypocritical and in some cases cowardly too.

I know of the incident and I was as shocked as anyone else. But what I mean is why even specify white people? I would be amazed if that entire crowd was white. Why not just say "people" and not make it sound like you're trying to racially polarise the issue?

And this woman is going to prison? Where did you get that information from? I can't find news anywhere that she has been sentenced. If they have sentenced her, then they did it bloomin' quickly. You say it's not equal, but in reality you don't know because she hasn't even been to court yet.

It's true, they have kept her overnight in a jail cell because of the profile of the case (i.e. for her own safety), but it would be incredibly unlikely that they would give her an actual prison sentence when she does go to court. I'd be willing to bet she would be given a fine at worst, like the muslims who burned the poppies were.

If you want it to be, sure, why not?

1) We can, because we do. Go out during a sporting event and the St George's cross is everywhere. In every bar and in every home. It's sad, because the government even had to make an offical statement saying that it isn't banned a few years ago due to this misconception.

2) You can still call Christmas Christmas, nobody is stopping you. This is just something that seems to have stemmed out from local governments giving the period a banner term to cover a range of religious holidays around that period. Of course, the tabloids pick that up twist it, tell people the half truth and assert that it is banned. Stewart Lee explains this one well.

I watched the video, and whether or not anyone has actually banned Christmas, the question remains: what the fuck is that guy wearing around his neck?
