Forums - Sales - Global Up!! 19th November (Europe Up!)

The changes will be great as people get used to them. It will give people on here more to talk about by comparing different countries than just a couple of regions. The arguments between Americas vs US will go away as well as UK vs the rest of others because people will actually have numbers to go by. Instead of arguing from assumption people can talk from real tangible numbers. People do not usually like change, but when it becomes the norm it will be better.

Good idea. Those 3ds numbers are very impressive and I would expect a higher total than that next week when you consider it should sell more than the 190,000 it sold in the US week ending 19th November due to the black friday sales last week. I read on here that the mario bundles were selling really well so should be a double boost there:)

I guess this will be more relevant next week but it seems Nintendo has had at least a decent BF spike.

I expect 360 to be above this and PS3 to be close to this but I guess the Wii can still shift HW/SW in decent numbers. Sounds like 3DS did very well too. I expect by the end of the holidays the early talk of "doomed" is going to start looking a little exaggerated.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Not bad 3DS number if you consider that it did more sales in the first 8 - 9 months then the DS did in it's first full year. Of course it had to make a substantial price drop to do so. Still the price drop might be completely justified if the system can start selling some software and making money off it.

last wk the gap between 360 and PS3 was 100k. this wk its 56k. 360 is down 87k from last wk, and PS3 is down 16k. nicely done. black friday wk should an interesting 1 and hopefully we'll know by friday not that i'm complaining. i'd like to see PS360 do well over 500k. yes that would make me very happy.

there are reasons for that, just like there are reasons why that it be reversed this week... and then some!

yea thanks but i'm well aware of that. COD i would imagine is a reason why and as i understand hardware always drops after a COD wk. yea i can't wait till next wk.

I'm not sure what to think about this.

It's gonna take some time to get use to this change. I've been apart of this site since early 07 and i haven't seen anything this drastic before. In time it will grow on me, it's gonna have to. lol

I think the real reason why people are testy on this change is that it's the holiday season. Everyone made there predictions or wagers and talked about the end year sales to there blue in the face. And now when everyone wants to see the numbers as quick as possible the big change happens. I respect the members of this site and appreciate all the data we get for free on a weekly basis. But in my own opinion, i think this change happened at the wrong time. It would have been better after the holidays when sales and traffic slows down. That way people on here won't get all riled up about "why aren't the numbers posted yet" etc..

I like having a breakdown of the biggest markets like that, it's gonna be very interesting.

Next week will be very interesting.

i like it as well. now i will see how fucked up the 360 is in my country (germany) lol. playstation is the king here since playstation 1 you will see it at the ps3 numbers.
