you could have come up with way better reasons, this list does not help your argument. Actual motion gaming?? Eyetoy says hi, Miis??? Really, they did crap and it looked like crap IMHO. Yes MS did copy them and did better (as expected) but Sony did?? When?? Are we talking HOME, I dont know cause i never use it. Mario?? that makes no sense by that logic every Ninty console is the best of its generation and we know that aint true. (looking at you virual boy and GC)

If they cater towards people who consider themselves elite or hardcore, then they are catering to nerds; because only weird nerds really think they are hardcore or elite because they spend lots of time sitting down and playing a videogame with blood in it.

The PS2 and PSX didn't do that. There were not those sorts of pretentions as being the main reason for getting those consoles.

For a small niche of the market (hardcore gamers) it's the worst, however for ordinary gamers it's the best.
