get elder scrolls oblviion GOTY edition, then play fallout 3 then fallout new vegas then skyrim the elder scrolls series is bar none the best RPGs of all time
Battlefield 3 is a great shooter, bask in destructive awsomeness
metal gear solid 4 or gears of war ( series) have awsome single players get whichever you can
