Forums - Sales - EMEAA Up! 12th November

Solid numbers for both HD consoles there. Really good week for 360 with over 500K WW and PS3 going to end up close to 400 K when Japan is in - so 360 takes back a chunk of PS3 WW lead so far this year.

Wii looking like a console that's dipping with a replacement on the way - which it is I guess.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Let's hope the uncharted numbers pick up again... :( deserves more...

I don't know if they'll "pick up" again, but I think the sales will remain steady from now on due to the holidays, which is a good thing.

Well Sony have sold 3.8m copies, so you don't really need to worry about Sony making up their money... but it should keep selling nicely

And stop it CoD, this is just silly! But I would have to guess that this will be the peak, surely?

360 pulled off these numbers because it's amazing, not because of bundles.

Xbox 360 at half a million is amazing!

With these numbers plus Japan X360 brings the gap to what it was two weeks ago.

PS3 again got no major bump with MW3 and Skyrim...

Anyway, both HD consoles doing amazing numbers, the rest not so much.

And the exclusive bundle with the skin for the X360 has nothing to do with it?

It's amazing ok, but with +9% for the PS3 and +62% for the X360, bundles sure have something to do with it. (and +100% for the PS3 and +200% for the X360 in NA too, but well even without bundle it'd have been the same)

Btw Black Friday week will be a blast this year.

Exactly. And you proved my point. 360 is awesome.

Amazing PS3 numbers, it will be even more amazing after the adjustments.

Seems I might have been right about the Wii after all, claiming that last holiday season was the last it would win.

Epic 360 numbers, really impressive! PS3 is doing very well in EMEAA but desperately needs a presence in Americas, this is why I believe the gap will still be 3 million at years end despite the PS3 selling more thorugh the year in total.

I was talking about NA only. And I exaggerated a bit maybe, without bundles it would have done +198%... :p

PS3 version of MW3 only marginally ahead of X360 in EMEAA despite outselling it in every country besides UK? Very hard to believe. Even with Black Ops the difference was bigger and after that the HW gap between PS3 and X360 in EMEAA has just grown.

Agree.  I also have to say, not really buying the 360 Skyrim outsold the PS3 Skyrim by ~100K, either.  Just look at Oblivion for my reasoning.  Oblivion launched in EMEAA a little over a year late on the PS3.  At that time the 360 outnumbered the PS3 by ~2.3 million in those regions.  Yet, Oblivion on the 360 only outsold the PS3 version by 190K.  So here we are, when the PS3 outnumbers the 360 by ~4.4 million units, and the games are launching on the exact same day, yet the 360 version somehow outsells the PS3
version.  Just not seeing how that's possible.
